Fresh corn threshers handle sweet corn or newly harvested field corn with higher moisture (20–28%). Dry corn threshers handle only dried corn (moisture < 14%). This machine is specifically designed for fresh corn — essential for seed production where low-moisture handling is critical.
Working Principle
Fresh ears fed into the threshing chamber. A rotating drum with rubber lugs strips kernels from the cob. Rubbing bars inside ensure complete shelling. Grains fall through a bottom opening, cobs exit at the side.
