Corn Grits Making Machine Full Line
Model: Corn Grits Making Machine Full Line
What It Produces
Corn grits making machines process dried corn kernels into three distinct products: • Corn Grits (4–10 mesh) — coarse particles for polenta, brewing grits, animal feed • Corn Meal (20–60 mesh) — medium-fine for tortillas, muffins, industrial food • Corn Flour (60–120 mesh) — fine powder for batters, coatings, baby food
Working Process
Dried corn enters the intake hopper. A de-germinator separates corn germ (used for corn oil production). The remaining endosperm passes through a series of corrugated rollers that break it into particles. Multi-deck screens separate particles into the three size fractions.
Corn Oil Opportunity
By-products from the grits making process — corn germ — is valuable. Send germ through an oil press to produce cold-pressed corn oil. This adds a significant revenue stream with minimal additional equipment investment.
Installation
Compact model (CGM-100) fits in a small workshop. Full line (CGM-500) needs ~40 m² floor space. Connect to 380V three-phase power. Vibration foundation recommended for the full line.
FAQ
Q1.Can it produce both grits and flour?
Yes. The integrated design peels, de-germinates, crushes and grades maize into three products: large grits, small grits and fine flour.
Q2.What is the extraction rate?
From 100 kg of clean maize you typically get 65-70% grits and flour combined, plus bran and germ as sellable by-products.
Q3.Does it need three-phase power?
Small models run on single-phase 220V. Larger models require three-phase. Diesel-engine versions are available for off-grid areas.
